Bob Vaughan

A Specialist in admiralty/maritime law, as well as personal injury and wrongful death actions, Bob Vaughan extends his marine-oriented activities well beyond the office.

He is a member of the admiralty law committee of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and the Maritime Law Association. He has published articles in the Maritime Law Reporter and acts as legal counsel (as well as a board member) for Tampa Baywatch, a nonprofit organization devoted to protecting and restoring the Tampa Bay marine environment. He includes saltwater fishing among his favorite leisure time diversions. Bob and his wife Laura, who is also a practicing attorney, have two children, Michael and Emily.

Bob joined his father, Roger Vaughan, at Wagner, Vaughan & McLaughlin in 1991. Since that time he has litigated numerous complex maritime, personal injury and wrongful death actions, including participation in several trials.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.
