Bob Vaughan
Bob Vaughan graduated from the University of Virginia in 1987, received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1991, and was admitted to The Florida Bar that same year.
Bob is a specialist in admiralty/maritime law. He is a member of the Admiralty Law Committee of the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and the Maritime Law Association. He has published articles in the Maritime Law Reporter and acts as legal counsel (as well as a board member) for Tampa Baywatch, a nonprofit organization devoted to protecting and restoring the Tampa Bay marine environment.
Bob joined his father, Roger Vaughan, at Wagner, Vaughan & McLaughlin in 1991. Since that time, he has litigated numerous maritime, personal injury and wrongful death actions. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers.
Bob and his wife Laura, who is also a practicing attorney, have two children, Michael and Emily. He includes saltwater fishing among his favorite leisure time diversions.
